This community is a place for artists and designers to link, look for, and discuss public domain graphics and other images with licenses that allow reuse and remixing.*
If you've created or uploaded remixable graphics someplace, promote them here!
The sticky post has a master list of resources that the mod(s) will update regularly; members are encouraged to post links to other online resources! (Or just comment there if you don't want to make a whole new post about it.)
This comm is also an appropriate place for showcasing, discussing, or squeeing about particular images or sets of images ("OMG, just *look* at these great high-res 18th century fashion plates!").
This comm is also an appropriate place to request help finding remixable graphics of a particular type or look ("I'm looking for old engineering diagrams").
And if you make art of any kind that reuses open content, show it off here!
Please use a cut for large images so they don't mess up people's reading pages.
* At least to start with, I think that any resource with a license that allows reuse of the images is fine to link, but please be clear if it has a "for non-commercial purposes only" clause, or other potentially limiting factors that might make it unsuitable for use in a project. Do not link to resources that lack a clearly-stated license.
